Publix, on lime and Ringling, stood for 50+ years. It still stands, yet it is only the shell of the store.. it was my first ever job. My best job. The employees became my family.. my heart forever beats loud for this sacred ground. Sadly, it closed its doors a couple years ago, due to having built a new store. I like to drive by there occasionally. The other night, however, I stopped by and took a stroll down memory lane.. much to my dismay, there was vulgar graffiti etched across the amazing mural.
