Pulled from my blog entry : Customer Service or Maybe Not Lesson 9: We do it to get to where we’re going. You’re working as a lawyer, a banker, a car salesman making all this easy money, in fact, you make so much that you think that that person working behind the counter of that grocery store is beneath you and can never do any better. Contrary to your belief, there is diversity beneath minimum wage. For instance, people seem flabbergasted to find out that I’m an English Major, with a Minor in Intelligence Studies and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies. I only pimp myself out to minimum wage because like everybody else I need to eat, and of course, the world of writing is an unforgiving one. Helpful Hint: Remember the road that got you to where you’re at now, maybe that person’s road is a little tough right now.
