Pupdate on the fosters: Weezer has started heart worm treatment. He is expected to head to NY with his new mom when its complete. She will be returning to the Nashville area at the end of February for a business trip, and has agreed to fly down and drive Weezer back with her if he isnt ready to go when she makes her move. We have still not heard anything from Weezers former owner.......... which makes me incredibly sad. But at least we know that Weezer will have a home, and he wasnt just released on the streets. Rigsby is rocking the cone of shame since his trip to the ER vet (since he cant leave his staples and drain alone). His foster Mom has set him up in an XL crate so he can rest and recover. His ER bill to patch up the mess he made was $796. With the additional $1100 we were short on the original bill, this is quite a charge on my credit card. But he is OK, and that is what matters most to me. Justice has been cleared by the oncologist. The masses that returned in her stomach/intestines are not cancer. The oncologist isnt sure why they returned and this will be something that we have to keep an eye on with her. I consider all of that good news............ and Im keeping a positive outlook for 2015.
