However, Roethlisberger was initially suspended for 6 games for violating the NFLs personal conduct policy. After convincing the NFL commissioner that he had turned his life around, Roethlisberger was allowed back early in only 2 games. Businessman and billionaire William Koch was charged with domestic violence, death threats, and assault and battery in 2000. HBO chairman Chris Albrecht was arrested for domestic violence in 2007 Last October, the goaltender Semyon Varlamov of the National Hockey League’s Colorado Avalanche was arrested after stomping his girlfriend in the chest.
