Putting the cup into cupcake and dessert into YUMMO! The Cupcakers met atop the west mezzanine this morning and continued upon last weeks theme. Heres what Nina the Cupcake Queen wrote: Last week we made dinner (cupcakes dressed like spaghetti & meatballs, and another like fried rice) so this week we made dessert! We got out the fondant and made long rectangles to shape around the first cupcake. After that little handles were formed and stuck to the sides of the cupcakes to make a cup. We warmed up some chocolate frosting and spooned it on top to resemble hot cocoa, and topped with marshmallows. And as if that wasnt enough, the second cupcake became a hot fudge sundae with a layer of fondant, a spoonful of the chocolate frosting, a lovely swirl of white frosting for whipped cream, sprinkles and a sugar wafer. As my dad would say, Yummo! What do you think?
