Py seems to be relatively comfortable right now. Earlier she was pretty emotional but then I remembered she was always like that after sedation. Its amazing what you forget. Shes much better now. She cant have anything to eat or drink until tomorrow. She has a cough from having the breathing tube down her throat. You can tell that causes her a lot of pain to cough and her tummy moving. She is taking it in stride though and is being so sweet. The nurse asked to see the bandage just to make sure nothing was on it and py was not having it! Shes very protective of it. It was funny bc the bandage covers much if her stomach, including her belly button. She looked at me all serious and said uh mom I dont have a belly button anymore and had this panicked look on her face. She couldnt feel it thru the bandage. I assured her it was still there. 😊 She got up once to go potty. You could tell moving like that causes her some discomfort but she did good. Were just watching full house waiting for another dose of medicine so she can go to sleep. I will keep everyone posted in the morning as to how the saline challenge goes. #gopygo
