Q. What exactly is happening? A. Germany, France and Italy- who collectively account for two-thirds euro-zone GDP are literally surviving off the edge: Germany is going through a recessionary period; France is mired in stagnation and Italys GDP has taken a blow. Q. What are the triggers? A. The reluctance and resistance of the political leaders, to push through key reforms to improve the competition and re-ignite growth, has led to the deepening of the crisis. Tight monetary and fiscal framework hasnt helped their cause either. Troubled times are sure awaiting the Euro zone. It seems then, the euro crisis has not gone away; it is just waiting over the horizon.
