#QLD #Corp #SAUNDERS CREEK - #Hazard #reduction burn. QFRS crews in conjunction with the Townsville City Council will conduct a large-scale hazard reduction burn tomorrow between Wagner Street and Geaney Lane, Saunders Creek. The burn will start at 10am and finish in the late afternoon. Motorists should drive with caution and obey all direction from traffic controllers. A large smoke haze will blanket the area and residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed and if they are susceptible to respiratory illnesses to keep medications close by.
