QR2210 Junior Merchandise Planner - JHB An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of South Africa’s top group for a Junior Merchandise planner in JHB. Key responsibilities, amongst others, will include: Management of store replenishments Monitor and manage product life cycle of all products and all new lines into business Product Planning new products, replenishment and promotions Stock management and drive stock turns Supplier product mix and profitability analysis Allocations by product brand and store Forecasting of current and new SKU’s Maintain and Develop supplier relationships Requirements and Competencies: A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar Proven merchandise distribution and planning experience in retail (min 2 years) A high degree of numeracy and an analytical with detailed and strategic approach to work Strong business acumen, merchant thinking, as well as store and customer understanding Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Excellent negotiating skills A high degree of decision making ability Service orientated and self-motivated Assertive communication skills and the ability to communicate and develop relationships at all levels Strong computer literacy skills Send your cv to [email protected]
