QT-1 Cor 9:19-27 Verses 19 and 23-24 sum up what Paul is trying to say. Paul was not above anyone and he did ALL he could to reach as many as possible for the kingdom of God. He didnt do it for himself, but so he could be considered faithful and brought many to a saving knowledge. How can I apply this to my life? Verse 19 is big! Paul had every right to do what he wanted and be an elite person because he was qualified. That verse tells me he CHOSE to become a slave so that he could tell them about Jesus, show them about Jesus and introduce hem to Jesus. Paul had the right but chose something bigger, more eternal. What an example he still leads for me today!!! Just because I can doesnt mean its what God wants for me. Just because I have the right doesnt mean it is right. Paul is being more selfless than I have ever considered!! I need to strive to be more selfless so I can introduce Jesus to more people.
