QUALITY MANAGER Mission: The position, who will be reporting directly to the Plant Manager, is responsible for leading all the quality activities of two manufacturing plants (São Paulo and Minas Gerais regions); as well as promoting the Group Quality culture on a local level and for coordinating all the quality assurance activities in order to verify the product and the process comply with the quality standards. Among the main responsibilities: overseeing the whole process of the production activities from the quality point of view; verifying the conformity of the in-going materials used in the manufacturing process; guaranteeing the quality of the finished product in terms of conformity to specifications, as well as the aesthetics of finished product; identifying corrective actions; setting the improvement plans to achieve the targeted objectives; applying the group assurance quality standard and procedures agreed with the Corporate quality organization. Management and maintenance of Quality Systems (ISO TS 16949 and FORD Q1).. Candidate profile: - Bachelor Technical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, etc) - Concrete experience (at least 5 years) in similar role achieved in modern and complex industrial companies - Fluency in English is a must. - Quality Management Standard (ISO9001) - Quality, Production and Problem Solving tools knowledge: FMEA, PPAP, 8D, Ishikawa/ Pareto, MASP, A3, etc) - Experienced with Lean Manufacturing/ Six Sigma/ Kanban – preferably Green Belt certification - Ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities, often with demanding time constraints - Ability to make independent decisions - Excellent leadership - Adaptability, flexibility, well structured and organized person - Availability for short and medium term travels (internationally) Job location: Atibaia region (São Paulo state) If you recognize yourself in this description, we invite you to apply at: [email protected]
