QUEERS FOR PALESTINE This is not the first time we are denouncing and condemning Israel’s and Israel’s supporters’ attempts to “pinkwash”, that is, use a “gay-friendly” propaganda (defense of LGBT rights) to hide the most violent forms of nationalism and apartheid. As LGBTQ movements and subjectivities, we raise our voices against Israel’s violence and its exploitation of LGBT needs and demands. We refuse to identify politics with drones, missile shield, bombing and katyusha rockets firing, and believe in a possible, pacific, co-habitation, in the name of truth and equality. We ask other gay, lesbian, bi, trans, queer and feminist activists to cry aloud to Israel and to the world “we are all Palestinian”, and we will always be on the side of those who fight for their dignity and freedom against racism, exploitation, violence and apartheid.
