QUESTION: YOU’VE SAID NOT TO FEED ANHIDROSIS HORSES BEET PULP. - TopicsExpress

QUESTION: YOU’VE SAID NOT TO FEED ANHIDROSIS HORSES BEET PULP. COULD YOU EXPLAIN WHY? Tigger answered: There have been no scientific studies on why or how beet pulp affects anhidrosis horses. But the antidotal evidence is so compelling, and the rate of anhidrosis is getting worse (more and more horses affected) that it seemed wise to let people know that there can be an improvement with non sweaters when beet pulp is removed. Let us also say, beet pulp does not cause anhidrosis! Thanks for questions! If you have anything else youd like us to cover or want us to clarify, please ask! We appreciate the chance to share our knowledge and help open discussions on various nutrition topics. Until next time!
