QUESTION: if your first birth left you with birth trauma, (unnesscary) emergency c section, an infected c section scar that took weeks to close, 3 blood transfusions, didnt get to see baby for 6+ hours after birth, baby went into distress, a breastfeeding experience that wasnt, 4 months of trying to reverse that breastfeeding experience, spending tons of $$$ on medication to up supply, $$$ on special formula, visits to Lactation consultants, add in lots of Postpartum depression and anxiety, etc. Not an ideal introduction into Motherhood, right? Why oh why would anyone sign up for a repeat C section for baby #2, especially when you are cleared for a VBAC???? Doc said a VBAC would be fine AND the hospital supports VBACs. wha?? I just dont understand. Baby is head down, in position and ready to birth... Yet, another C section is being scheduled.
