Quadcopter Rescue in Gambrills A quadcopter received as a Christmas gift made an unscheduled landing 40 feet into a tree off of Riedel Road. After the resident exhausted all efforts to retrieve it themselves they asked the fire department for assistance. The quadcopter was out of reach of anything but a fire department ladder truck. To prevent one of the children from climbing into the tree in attempt to retrieve it and getting injured, Truck 28 from Odenton Volunteer Fire Company came out and performed the rescue. Quadcopter and its pilot were happily reunited. Special thanks to Jeanne Tobia for capturing the pictures.
