Query: when a man and woman shake hands, should the man assume a different hand shake for a woman...or vice versa? Personally, I prefer a firm handshake from a man or woman. Not, for example, break the bones in you fingers firm, just confident firm. What is acceptable? A weak excuse of some of the ends of a few of their fingers... Or a handshake? Back in the day, a gentleman kissed a ladys hand, and the lady honored the gentleman with a small curtsy and a slight bow of her head. Thats pretty romantic, I must say. Unless, the gentleman is offensive and/ or the lady is not do much a lady. Enjoying the afternoon and pondering life.
