Question: I installed an aftermarket steering wheel setup over winter while my car was in storage mode to get ready for World of Wheels. The setup is a Momo hub with an eBay quick release and then an NRG Pilota Series 320mm wheel. I hadnt driven the car with this new wheel setup until just last night on my way home from the show. I had expected the wheel to be a little stiffer due to the fact that it is only a 320mm wheel as opposed to the factory one, and a smaller wheel means less leverage, which means more force required to turn it. However, the wheel is EXTREMELY stiff and difficult to turn. Also, the wheel doesnt recenter itself whatsoever after a turn. Did I install something wrong? Maybe I lost power steering over winter? I did a quick look last night to verify that power steering was topped off but was to exhausted from a long weekend to diagnose anything beyond that. Anybody with experience with aftermarket wheels have any advice?
