Question from one of our readers: I work in a pretty new office. We are still trying to figure out how we should be doing all the little stuff. One thing we are trying to figure out is if we need to be taking our lab coat off before we go to the front desk. I think it is fine for us to walk our patient to the front with our lab coat on as long as we remove gloves/mask and wash hands. Does this seem like the normal or does everyone remove all PPE, including lab coat, before dismissing? Please leave your feedback/suggestions below. Do you have a question?
