Question that. Do you think that you can keep up with the barrage of news that seems to be nothing but bad? Does the news seem to come in bunches one new focus at a time? What are we seeing and perceiving? Is it the truth or is it someone else’s take on reality? Do we as Christians just buy what the world is selling when, in fact, we are told to “love not the things of the world”? Can we be so easily manipulated by the enemy of Christ Jesus? Is it possible to hold hands with the world and hold on to Christ? Why are we so comfortable with the unfolding narrative that is being shoveled into our lives every single day? We know that there is “only one name given under heaven by which men can be saved” and yet that name sees reluctance to escape our lips in a holy manner? Has “God not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind”? Who then gives this “spirit of fear”? And who is it that fans the flame of this fear perpetuating tension, hatred and mistrust? Where is this mistrust aimed and who is always there to help aim it the wrong way? Are we walking by sights, just because they are in abundance? In this “matrix” of orchestrated daily narratives given to us by the spirit of this world, can we not pause and realize that 99% of this we see and hear are the smoke and mirrors of the enemy of the cross we hold so dear? Is the spirit of confusion prevail ant? Is fear prevalent? Hopelessness? The enemy (satan) and his minions know their time is near but know that their power and influence is reaching its zenith. Can we hold those hands who call for tolerance only to silence us? How many times must Christians apologize for being Christians before we realize it will never be enough? Where is the true Church of the Living God that was paid for ONLY by the blood of our Savior, led by the Holy Spirit towards the manifesting of the “sons of God” and His Kingdom Come? Is it your denomination, attendance or your life that determines your membership in this mighty Church? Is the Christ coming back for a Bride who has been eating too much salvation a-la-mode? Do we surrender our lives to the Holy Spirit daily or to the insanity that is the world news? Is the time later than we think? And is “our “brand of Christianity enough to see past the smoke and mirrors that the spirit of this present darkness is trying to feed us? Is it time to rise up and become the Church or continue sleeping and hiding hoping that it will just go away? Can the Kingdom of God truly come here on earth? Sometimes it’s the questions that are the wrong ones being asked only to give benign answers that challenge no one. My hopes are that these aren’t. Can I get a witness?
