Question to my FB friends who are knowledgable on the open carry of a firearm here in MI. Went into a small retail establishment yesterday with my daughter, a male patron standing at the counter had a handgun on his hip that was fully exposed. Standing there, I was wondering who the individual may be and if they had proper training to use a hand gun. I am a supporter of our constitutional rights and the 2nd Amendment. The reason I ask, it is not the norm to see a firearm exposed but I can see it becoming more common as society is becoming more divided through racism. What are your thoughts on open carry? (Please be knowledgable and informative in your response as not looking to have a FB messaging fisticuff.)
