Does it make sense that the Nazis, who believed in the superiority of the Aryan race would appoint a Ukrainian, who they believed to be an “untermensch” or subhuman, as a top commander in their army? 2. Does it make sense that such a “top commander”, supposedly guilty of such serious war crimes, was neither prosecuted at Nuremberg nor thereafter for some 65 years? 3. Why would a man guilty of war crimes like those alleged publish a personal memoir of his role in World War II? 4. Why would a man allegedly guilty of such war crimes live under his real name in the United States 5. Is Michael Karkoc entitled to be presumed innocent until proven otherwise? Is the presumption of innocence in his case a mere technicality, or is it a substantive right? 6. If the accusation is a criminal accusation, shouldn’t Michael Karkoc be tried in a criminal court in the United States? 7. Why is the Karkoc matter being handled by immigration officials rather than by criminal prosecutors? 8. Can a prosecution of this nature be fairly conducted when the full force of the state is applied against a 94-year-old man with hardly any resources to defend himself? 9. What was the secret American government blacklist mentioned in the news media related to this matter? 20. What individuals, groups or organizations were on the blacklist? 21. Why was the blacklist secret? 22. Was the blacklist lawful? 23. Who drafted this blacklist? 24. Was the blacklist known to the US Army? 25. How consistently was it enforced? 26 In respect to the records being used by the accusers, what is the source of these “records,” “statements,” “other documentation,” “and Nazi SS files” being referred to? 27. Are these from Bolshevik Soviet records? 28. Are they authentic? 29. Who authenticated them? 30. What is their provenance (chronology of ownership)? 31. Was testimony secured under torture? 32. Who were the “men in his unit”? 33. Are they alive? 34. Who cross-examined them? 35. Did the Bolshevik Soviets execute them? 36. One witness mentioned in the news media was a man named “Malazheski”. Where is Mr. Malazheski now? Was he ever cross-examined? Was he executed by the Bolsheviks Soviets? 37. Who was the German SS officer allegedly being avenged? 38. Why wasn’t he replaced by another German SS officer?
