Questions and honest objections that are worth wrestling with. Here is one. All religions claim to know truth. How can you be so sure that what you believe is true? Why do you think you are right and everyone else is wrong? How do you respond? Realize that honest, intellectual questions often have an emotional underpinning. In other words, someone who is honestly asking questions we think are purely intellectual, is rarely just an exercise of the mind. Our failure to recognize the emotional need behind the intellectual question is to fail to answer the question behind the question. When we do this we can unintentionally dismiss the questioner. It is imperative that we understand this reality.
