Quick little vid of todays workout/active recovery, I love jumping rope, its a great form of low impact pulse raising work, and its gets a surprising little pump going on in the arms and shoulders (only if you use a weighted jump rope really) Its also real enjoyable. Its also really important to keep the feet and calfs healthy/strong simply because the Venus return (which is the blood flow back to heart from the limbs) back to the right atrium of the heart is dependant on the muscular pumping action of the feet and calfs which can promote healthy heart action. I simply used an interval timer with 40s on and 20s off for 20 rounds so 20 minutes. Great little workout. (Excuse how far away I am in the video!)!
