Quick opinion poll: I was in Aldis grabbing some groceries and I see a lady shopping along with her dog, a Yorkie. I got a little irritated because I dont believe dogs belong in Grocery stores. So I asked the police officer working there as I walked by Are dogs allowed in this store? He answers, Yes. I said, Even if its not a service dog? The Aldis associate he was chatting with chimed in and stated, We actually just had a company meeting about that. We do allow any dogs in our store. My mouth dropped open and I asked, So I can just bring my dog in and grocery shop, too? And she tells me, Yes, you can. So then I rhetorically ask both of them, Isnt there a law regarding health and sanitation against that type of thing? She tells me, Now days there are more than just seeing eye dogs. There are therapy dogs for people with comfort issues. We are not allowed to ask a customer with a dog what their issues are.... WTFUDGE! Are you kidding me!?!? That is disgusting! So my question to you is, tonight it was a Yorkie. What if tomorrow its a pit bull or a big sloppy drooling dog? Or, what if I decide to bring my sweet little dog Angel, who happens to like to urinate in new places? I am just SO sick of all the rules and laws being completely DISREGARDED so that someone can feel comfortable! We are not a 3rd world country! That is why there are HEALTH LAWS here!
