Quick tip for all you carpers out there this weekend just gone my coleman stove started playing up it wouldnt go on full just pulsing with a low flame and black smoke so got it out Monday night for a look see so to get to the chase all had to do was remove the generator bar 11 mm spanner and a pozi drive now pull out the wire but you will need to maybe pull and push it backwards forwards a few times to loosen it up which runs through generator bar give that a clean simply pull it through a scouring pad a few times to remove any gunk from it then thread it back through the other end but be careful this is where that actual problem is this is a bit fiddly so I would use a fine sewing needle first to clear the hole then thread the wire through hole but not all the way 20 mm pull it back out then reconnect the bar but with out the wire in!!! prime the stove open up the valve but cover the other end of the bar with a peice of paper towel carefully check that the fuel is coming through if it is bingo were in business take the bar off put the wire back in the right way but be careful it gets a little stiff when you get down to the last bit then reassemble and youll have your stove back to full power like I did :-D Well it worked for me it might for you Or just buy a new generator lol :-o
