Yesterday returning from work just before dusk, I stopped at a traffic light(near Sector 63,Noida) and as I crossed the light, a guy in a car pulls up alongside and tells me my rear tyre has been slashed by a guy standing on the side of the road! I carry on and stop at a roadside tyre repair place and fill the tubeless to get home(kept the car locked and stood by it while the guy filled air) then stopped just before my house(my tyre had been flat for the last 5 mins but I didnt stop) I see 2 guys on a mobike in my rear view and get out and start walking to them, and they scoot! Like really fast! Went back to the same spot after 20 mins in a different car and saw this guy slashing a rear tyre of another car and then hop pillion onto an accomplices mobike and follow the car. I got close and took a photo of bikes plate but the flash warned them that they were being followed! And once again they sped off! Went to the cops and gave them the details and even took them to all the spots. People BEWARE- in Noida and Delhi, there is this biker gang which has been doing this to a lot of mostly lone drivers, and the cops get daily complaints of such incidents, so if your car has a flat, or you see someone telling you there is a dent, fuel leaking etc, DONT stop! Also, keep your handbags, briefcases and laptops hidden(in the boot) or under the seat (thats what they are after). Keep your wits about you! I was lucky, someone else may not be. ***** Happy to know he is safe. Happier that people like him still fight back. A real hero! @
