R.A. 7659 REWAKEN’S Since we born in this world, crimes are already rampant in our country until this present time. As a solution, senate officials try to revive death penalty in the Philippines by the use of lethal injection. They try to revive it for the reason that it will lessen crimes and so that guilty persons will pay for what they have committed such as rape, homicide, drug pusher and the like. I as a citizen against to death penalty .According to the sixth commandment of God . ”Thou shall not kill” so why would you revive death penalty .Life is a very special gift of God to us and he is the only one who is responsible of taking it .Therefore it’s not justifiable to kill people even though they committed crime. Guilty persons who committed crimes are given penalties such as life time imprisonment ,paying bills and the like .This are the right penalties that should be given to them and not death penalty .Not all of them is true guilty .There are people who can’t afford hiring good lawyers so they loss during hearings. However death penalty is still a crime to our God the creator. Now we know that death penalty can help lessen crimes and guilty persons will be able to pay also their sins, but they don’t realize that death penalty is also taking and destroying one’s sacred life given by our creator .They need to know that this is a crime ,maybe not to government but in God’s eye. In conclusion ,death penalty may be very useful to us people but it comes with a price and a very bad one at that .In order for us to protect the sacredness of life ,death penalty should not be implemented and always remember that it is a CRIME!
