R.V. ASSEMBLER Job Description: Apply in person to complete co. application./Opening for RV Assembler./Deadline 10/23/13 at 5pm./Opening for 3rd shift 10pm-6am./Be avail. for O/T./Performs various tasks necessary to assemble, paint, and package RV products and other power coated metal products./There are 3 areas of focus: Riveting, Stepping and Paint Line./Starting pay is $10.39 hr./Offers benefits. Job Duties: May assemble RV hinges and components utilizing Rivet Machines. • Stack parts onto tables or into bins. Weight of products varies from ½ lbs. to 30lbs. • Differentiate between types of components to prevent mixing of products. • Identify quality of rivet joints through visual check and feel. • Assemble RV units using hand rivet gun. • Hang unpainted product on paint line. Weight of product varies from ½ lbs. to 65 lbs. • Differentiate between types of components to prevent mixing of products. • Identify quality of riveting by visual inspection. • Frequently inspect product for defects and record inspection results. Inspections include the use of levels or tape measures. • Stack products into cages or hang product from cages as directed by Lead or Supervisor. • Remove painted product from the line and stack onto pallets or package as directed by Lead or Supervisor. Weight of product varies from ½ lbs. to 65 lbs. • Identify and paint areas needing touches up using manual spray gun. • Fill paint tanks and perform necessary documentation. Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions: Must be at least 18 yrs. of age. Minimum of 6 months of previous work exp. in a mfg. setting. • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. • Ability to follow complex patterns for riveting components together. • Ability to read part numbers and measurement equipment. • Ability to write quality information from inspections on quality records. Ability to repetitively lift up to 65 lbs. to hang product or remove painted product./Stand, walk, use of hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
