RANT ALERT! We used to live in paradise. Now we suffer in an unbearable hellscape of endless sweltering heat and crushing humidity. I have never in my life been as uncomfortable as Ive been for the last- how long? Three months? Four months?The weather forecasters promised trades earlier this week. The trade winds blew for 12 minutes yesterday, but it was 90 degrees. After 12 minutes the trades stopped. Tonight the humidity is 89%. When is this steamy torture going to end? I want to wake up cold in the middle of the night and have to find a second blanket. I want to have my wife ask for her sweatpants and sweatshirt, and then tell me its too cold (65 degrees) for her to sit on the toilet. I want to go someplace with a nicer climate, like Guam, or Bangkok or Manila. Seriously, Honolulus weather now sucks. Oppressive, muggy, unrelenting. Two of my Martin guitars have had to go in for repair and reset because the humidity f*#&ed them up. When it messes with my guitars, thats too much. End of rant.
