RANT to the Osage Valley Electric employee that came to our house - TopicsExpress

RANT to the Osage Valley Electric employee that came to our house to change out our meter. He didnt come to the door to let us know he was there (we had no idea there was an issue that required a new meter). I was walking our dogs out to their pen in the back yard so I could go run some errands and his presence startled my dogs as much they startled him. As I am putting the dogs in the kennel, I notice that one of my dogs is freaking out, his face and eyes were swelling. I thought he was having an allergic reaction to a sting. As I was freaking out trying to get him to come back to the house with me the electric guy just kept working on the meter without saying a word about the fact that HE WAS THE PROBLEM!! He sprayed my dog with pepper spray and didnt have the guts to admit it. Sure, the dogs startled him but they didnt attack him. Had he knocked on my door and told me he was there, I would have waited to take them out. Ended up making an emergency trip to the vet because I had no idea what was wrong with the dog. Once my arms and face and my husbands started burning we put two and two together that the electric guy must have sprayed him. He was at our house for at least 10 minutes after spraying the dog, speaking to my husband, seeing me freaking out trying to help the dog and finishing his job and he NEVER ONCE said anything about the fact that he sprayed the dog. What a chicken shit!!! Rave for Dr Morse and the staff at the Peculiar location of Harrisonville Animal Clinic for letting me bring Oliver right in to be treated. The supervisor at Osage Valley apologized for their employees behavior but apparently they dont have any policies regarding what an employee should do if they spray someones pet. Hopefully that will change ASAP!
