RE POST Hey guys, thanks for having me in the group. Sadly, I need everyones help on a serious couple issues Im having. Ive posted a video of a lot of the issues.(please, bare with me through the awful commentary) The car did this once over the summer. Ive only put about 7,000 miles on my car since buying it used a year ago. The shifting issue arose nearly instantaneous. I had previously had no issues with the car, aside from the one instance of the below electrical issue. So, my questions are; has anyone else had either of these issues? What is my next step. My local Ford Dealership here in Kansas City, tried charging me $250 simply for retrieving the code and telling me, the shifting issue either is or isnt a wear item. we wont know until were at least $1,700 into the tear down. The dealership never gave me code numbers and claimed to not even know what the communication codes mean. My next issue concerns the shifting issue. Im simply seeking more information about if and how the issue has played out for anyone else. Did your dealership try fighting you on the clutch being simply worn or did they take responsibility without a fight? Sadly, my mother, father, brother and I have owned 30+ Fords (my three 2005+ Mustangs included) but if this issue isnt corrected, this will be our last. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, youtube/watch?v=kaSy3c1QzSU
