REAL Early Sneak Peak Top 25 1. St Kentigern College 2. St Pats College Town 3. Hamilton BHS 4. Hastings BHS 5. Wesley College 6. MAGS 7. Otago BHS 8. Scots College 9. Christchurch BHS 10. Wellington College 11. Auckland GS 12. De La Salle College 13. St Andrews College 14. St Peters College Auckland 15. St Patrick College Silverstream 16. St Bedes College 17. Gisborne BHS 18. Southland BHS 19. Shirley BHS 20. Palmerston North BHS 21. New Plymouth BHS 22. Sacred Heart College 23. Napier BHS 24. Timaru BHS 25. Massey HS Ok now that you have seen what I think COULD be and I mean could be because this ranking will change 100% by the start of the season or even Pre Season because we dont know yet who is thinking about coming back but for now this is what I think. So Ill feature some teams and what they could bring. St Kents have a good returning class as of now with boys like Braydon Ennor Centre, Dalton Papalii Open Side, Wesley Tameifuna Wing and Jerry Samania Prop just to name a few. They will have a strong forward pack that is mobile and I expect to see a fast game plan from them where they can out run the other forward pack. Also let me run a couple of names past you Tanielu Telea this guy could be a 2nd 5/8 or winger with his power and speed and the last name Etene Nanai who will be Year 11 next year and will be the No.1 Year 11 Top 80 player. Now this guy has some real speed and foot work he is just crazy with his change of direction too and if you dont believe ask any St Andrews or Lindisfarne 1st XV player what this kid was like cause he went crazy in the last games so I think they could be one of the best teams in the country. St Pats Town basically have the whole starting XV coming back and some of the bench too. They will make some real big moves in the country next year if they carry on the momentum from this season. They have some real Ballers like Siosaia Paese Fullback, Billy Proctor Wing and Connor Fitzsimons 2nd 5/8 who are all Year 12...next year so you know they will be heavy armed for 2016. The Gus Stone Lock is a very good leader who with his actions and from the front and along with him supporting Kevin Fautea No.8 Jack Nelson-Murray Open Side and Hannon Brighouse at Blind Side making a very physical and intimidating loose trio set for a big year. From this past year Wesley College is returning back 14 players from the team this year. They will be massive and prepared because the U15 Program there is really doing some great stuff and that is always so positive in feeding the 1st XV. The twins Suiteina Asomua Prop and Fuifatu Asomua No.8 are going to be a driving force next year as Year 12s. They will have strong returning Locks in Michael Kaveilata and Fonnga Tuuheava who will add that leadership in the pack and support in the scrums which all good teams have at scrum time. Wetere Pompey Year 12 next at 1st 5/8 will guide the team and direct them around the park he did a great job this year learning and next will be his blow out season. Prince Saumani Centre, Hawaii Paeniu Wing and Michael Hunkin Half back/Fullback will support Wetere and take care of the support play. A lot of people wont know Shirley BHS from Christchurch but they are doing some good development within their rugby program and it seems to be paying off. They have had a very young squad this year and last and they boys are ready and set to make their names Nationally. Tom Christie Open Side Year 12, Liam Humm Blind Side and Cruz Topai-Aveai at No.8 Year 11 should all be the starting trio next year and they will bring defence first, speed 2nd and then power 3rd. They will be seen flying around the field and making plays on defence Then backing up guys like Prop Mason Riwaka. Keep a look out for Logan Bell 2nd 5/8 who is a big kid and he brings a lot of power running and line breaking. Im really excited to see what Massey HS can do next year they had a bit of a building season this year and from what I saw and it worked. They have 10 returning players who are all very well school into their system and next year will carry that on again. Gafa Fuimaono Hooker will be a leader next year with his 3rd year in the team he bring some heavy hits and gruttn out runs. Jamie Casciaro at Open Side should be use to the pace now as he will be Year 12 next year and have that learning stage out of the way and Nathan Vaatausili Blind Side will be there to guide the forward pack through. Cody Castle Half Back is small but so tough and battles high above his size and weight. For me though Im going to be keeping an eye on Mackenave Pisi 2nd 5/8 who will be in his 3rd year next year in the 1st XV and will be Year 12 next year. He is big, quick on his feet, uses his fend well, has very good vision, has a kicking game and defends very well and I look to him and Massey having a big year next year.
