RECRUITMENT DRIVE on 24 & 25 Mar, 2014 for B.Tech (CS, IT, EC, EN, ME, Civil) & MBA (All Branches) – 2014 & 2015 Batch SUNCORE MICROSYSTEM RECRUITMENT PROCESS suncoremicrosystem Reporting Time: 9:00 AM at BBSCET Campus Suncore recruitment process consists five rounds in two stages Eligibility Criteria: - B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE/EN/EI/CIVIL/MECH/EEE/CHEM/), MCA and MBA – 2014 & 2015 passing out students who have throughout 65% with no active backlog are eligible to our recruitment drive but the students who does not meet our eligibility criteria can undergo the scanning process of our company’s recruitment drive through third party evaluation process where each candidate will have to pay Rs 399/- to the outsourcing organization in the form of Draft/Pay in account slip to the said organization not to Suncore Microsystem. Joining 2014 batch – immediate & 2015 batch – in year 2015. Important Note: - Students/Candidates are advised to select the specified position carefully as they will be tested accordingly for the applied post. Their tests will be conducted to judge whether they have the relevant knowledge and skills to endure the responsibilities for their applied post. One applicant can specify two posts at max and in the application form they have to write the position preference wise there but he/she will appear in one technical written test at a time. Suncore recruitment process concludes in two stages comprising five rounds. Stage 1 There will be three rounds for all and no elimination. Filling Application form: - Complete and submit the application form carefully. According your applied position specified in the application form, you will be allowed to appear in our written test where we will decide whether your individual skills, experience and qualifications match our requirements. Round1: Written test The duration of this test will be 120 Minutes for all the four sections. Section four is mandatory for all. 1. Technical: This section will have 30 questions related to basic technical concepts from your opted technical field like C, C++, Java, Dot Net, PHP, RDBMS, Comp. Hardware, Software Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, Mechanical engineering etc., 2. Verbal: This section will have 15 questions related to synonyms, antonyms, Analogies, SC, Prepositions and reading comprehension. 3. Aptitude: This sections will have 15 questions related to aptitude topics like Time & Work, Time & Distance, Blood Relations, Series Completion, Puzzles, Calendars, Clocks, Percentages, Ratio proportions, Ages, Pipes and Cisterns etc., 4. Writing skills: This section will have 6 questions which might be related to your technical, general, social skills, your future prospects etc., the words length of each questions might be 300 words at max. Candidates are informed to brush up their technical skills which were covered in their regular academic curriculum Round2: Group Discussion: This is slightly different form the GD traditionally taken by other companies and here the whole session is divided in two sessions where in the first session company’s executives randomly ask from the program participants to speak about the topics in the pros & cons and this continue till the completion of all the present participants and then in the second session the company’s executives give the time slots of 15 min to all and then observe the speakers and rate accordingly. The maximum duration of this round is approx 30 to 35 Min. Round3: Technical Test/Lab Test: This test will be in group of 30 to 40 students as per their desired technical field with respect to their laboratories. The Company technical experts raise technical questions during this round related to their respective field. Stage 2: After the first stage overall performance only the shortlisted candidates appear in the second stage rounds. Round 4: Technical Interview Once you are shortlisted from Stage1 rounds, would be grilled on technical questions from your course subjects and areas of interest. The Candidates should be thorough with their basic technical skills to get optimized this round. Therefore, the Candidates are here by informed to be prepared with their core subjects as Suncore is known for tough technical questions unlike most other companies and hence it is essential that you stay thoroughly prepared. Round 5: HR Interview Company Experts judge the personal attributes of the shortlisted candidates and see whether they can be fit in the company’s corporate environment. During this round company HR Team and other experts might raise about the previous rounds of the drive and the overall performance, future planning and other credentials to the company. They will ask you some questions about your life highlight your background, extra-curricular activities, and your time at University and any work experience to date. They would normally question you on your goals, willingness to work in team etc. Generally there would be least elimination from HR round. Points to Remember: • Maintain Dress Code. • Facial Expressions should be good. • Maintain Eye contact. • Smile on your face is very important. • Don’t put cross legs and cross hands. • While others giving their views accumulate every important points and see their faces but do not have paper work as company people deny for that. • They will give the chance to conclude the topic which has been going discussed. • Try to Initiate the Discussion. It will show Your Leader ship qualities. • Even If you don’t know the points try to listen the views of others carefully. • The Good Listener can also be selected in GD. • Better to Participate in the GD and explain everything at your turn to share your Opinions. • Don’t try to see the HR/ Observer at any time in Your Discussion. It leads bad Impression. • Be clear in your delivery that leads you clear in the GD as some min like 6-8 might be very valuable in your life.
