╬╬♥═╬ RED has another day~~Lets make it count!! ****CAN WE HIT A HOME RUN FOR RED TONIGHT?? PLEASE SHARE FOR A FOSTER/ADOPTER!*** A volunteer writes: Adopted quite some time ago, and found as a stray, Red is understandably stressed to find himself back where it all started. Hes welcoming in his kennel, tail wagging as he sees me unlatch his door, and makes a beeline for outside where he shows me how housetrained he is. He had to go! Hes a handsome boy, long legs, elegant, soft face, but a bit too thin so we are feeding him an extra meal daily to help him gain some weight. He pulls hard on the leash and will need some leash training to make it a more enjoyable walk for all. Red sits on command for pictures, takes treats gently, makes soft eye contact and doesnt mind being tethered. Off leash in the backyard is where he comes to life - chasing a tennis ball, tail wagging, catching it in mid air like a pro. He doesnt quite retrieve, but returns it close enough. I keep tossing the ball, he keeps catching it, playing by himself for a minute and then gleefully catching it again when thrown. Hes a gentle boy who will thrive with some exercise and love.
