REFLECTION :Nigeria without OIL would have been a great blessing to ALL. Today the OIL has been placed in the hands of juveniles, prodigals and wicked few citizens who rather than use the proceeds to build an envious nation and improve on peoples welfare; they went south and keeps going south with both resources and revenues.......The federal could not organize the nation and her resources; even with the basic concepts of structural organization, planning and resource sharing; while the states simply went south and became juvenile as most state leaders can not categorically point to major programs and projects they have used the revenue allocations on nor can most state citizens point to communal developments of benefits to them. The worst, are the individuals who became lords and enriched themselves at the expense of the people and nation; pretending to serve but amassing wealth from state and primitively displaying such arrogance in reminding the masses of their plight............OIL in Nigeria is relatively an aberration of lesser value to the common citizens. There must be a sincerity of purpose, an acknowledgement of truth and a reconciliation of the ills and pains in the nation by various groups or Nigeria has nothing.......The sad reality is that the nation has crossed the bridge and only honest engagements for peace and harmony would help solve the quagmire.....The nation is a-drift ........History must not be allowed to repeat itself in the land ...T.
