REFLECTIONS: Call me cynical but Im not a huge fan of Christmas anymore. The mad materialistic fever of the season has somehow overshadowed all efforts of turning a once pagan day into a sacred Christian celebration has failed. Next year if I live to see, NO GIFT GIVING, instead, Ill donate my time and efforts to a charity or anonymously help someone in need.. All was not lost this Christmas, I so enjoyed dining with close friends and especially with my family, being in their company my spirit was energized, comforted, renewed and at peace. Perhaps thats the true meaning of any holiday; an opportunity to celebrate the unconditional bonds of love between one another.. Happy Holidays.. -Ms Darcel👠👠
