REGIONAL SOLUTIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTS NEW MEMBER McMinnville, OR – McMinnville Economic Development Partnership’s Executive Director, Jody Christensen has been appointed to the Regional Solutions Advisory Committee (RSAC). The RSAC helps to identify regionally significant projects in Marion, Polk and Yamhill Counties. There are eleven (11) RSACs statewide. According to Greg Ellis, the Regional Coordinator for the Regional Solutions Advisory Committee, “Ms. Christensen was identified as the person who would represent local and regional business and industry.” The committee charter explains, “The Regional Solutions Program, attached to the Governor’s Office, was created by Governor Kitzhaber in 2011 and was sanctioned by the legislature in 2014 with the passage of HB 4015. The Regional Solutions program works with state agencies, local governments, public and private sectors, and philanthropic organizations to identify regional priorities for community and economic development, develop implementation projects, and address issues and seize opportunities.” “I am honored to serve on the Regional Solutions Advisory Committee,” stated Christensen. “This initiative is important because it is designed to help identify significant projects unique to our region and our communities.” About McMinnville Economic Development Partnership: The partnership includes the City of McMinnville, McMinnville Water & Light, McMinnville Industrial Promotions, the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce, and area businesses.
