REMINDER: Public Library of Enid and Garfield County will be closed for approximately two weeks to prepare for the Fall season. Library Director Michelle Mears said the library will be closed from August 20 to August 30. During the 10-day closing, the library will undergo some “fall cleaning” with emphasis on cleaning and re-organizing book shelves, painting, and carpet cleaning. According to Mears, “We will use this time to complete a large collection development project and make sure our citizens have access to current materials.” The library will reopen on Friday, August 30. The library book drop will continue to open during this time period.
