REPORT:MATCH ANALYSIS TEAMS:CAPS UNITED VS MOTOR ACTION STATUSFRIENDLY VENUE:GWANZURA STADIUM ATTENDANCE:+/-500 RESULT:NIL ALL Caps United fielded a team of mainly squad players, trialists and those coming from injuries in a new 3-5-2 formation but matched or even did better than a Motor Action side that fielded its strongest team that had veterans and regular starters in Marlon Jani,Godfrey Moyo,Passmore Benard, brothers Lewis and Clement Matawu,Yves Ebabali,Edward Tembo,Mburayi and Chivandire among others. Even without /their regular players,Caps United played very well such that they deserved even more that the draw they got. A 3 man defence of George Magariro,Blessing Zabula and Steven Makatuka was as resolute as they come the entire first half such thst Motor Action resorted to shoot from outside the box.The only shot that eluded the defence met an alert Winston Chiwetu in goals who made a brilliant save. The five men midfield of trialist Alfred Muza anchoring, teenage Gift Phiri on the left wing,Gift Phiri operating on the right flank,Pride Tafirenyika and livewire Benson Maglasi were the other central midfielders with Kelvin Bulaji and Joseph Mutambiranwa the twin strikers. The second half saw Dominic Mukandi coming in for Magariro,Takudzwa Mahori replacingTafirenyika whist Terrence Gonzo came in for Muza. The game improved a lot with Maglasi always a menace whenever he was in posession.Gonzo showed his calmness and composure in the very demanding DM position when he came on,Mukandi was very comfortable, containing veteran Matawu whilst Man of the Match STEVEN'Rough Diamond'MAKATUKA was a marvel partnering a confident again Zabula. Phiri Jnr,the Malawian is just good with his composure, ball distribution and runs on or off the ball whilst Gift on the right played well also. Our only major letdown was in attack where we lacked the killer instincts,Bulaji,Joseph and later Collins Dhuwa all failed to score in a game they dominated. There were also runs for Rahman Kutsanzira and Charles Napuwero a trialist who charmed the fans with his trickery. Nil all was the scoreline but with a lot of positives. THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT. **cm**
