REPOST:Good evening to all: I apologize in advance for this late email, as I know that many of you won’t see this until tomorrow morning. As some of you may know, District 4 Councilman Dwaine R. Caraway has sponsored a college tour for Dallas area high school students every year for the past seven years. This coming Thursday, August 15th, Councilman Caraway and the Dallas Youth Council, will be sponsoring a tour of local colleges such as Paul Quinn College and UNT Dallas, along with a visit to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. We have room for approximately 100 more 9th to 12th grade students. There is NO COST TO ATTEND!!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided to all students. This invitation is open to students from the DFW area with the desire to attend college but may not get exposure to the local colleges and universities right here in their backyard. If you or someone you know would be interested in attending, I have taken the liberty of attaching a copy of the College Tour Itinerary along with three parental consent forms (emergency contact form, transportation liability release form and photo release form). Registration will be taking place at Dallas City Hall, L1FN Auditorium at 5:00am. Buses are expected to depart from City Hall at 6:00am sharp and return at 9:00 pm.
