For the first two months they claimed our water consumption was 28000 gallons/month. The avg family uses 7000 and the most our property has ever used was 15000 gallons. We smelled a rat. Searched for a water leak. Nothing. They Had meter pulled and "tested". Of course they claimed it was... fine. Our bill was $380 both months. My husband appealed to water board and they gave us a $150 credit. Thank God. We applied it to last months bill and expected to finally receive a normal bill this month. Nope. Now our electricity portion has DOUBLED!!! This is crazy! Had we known about the raping of Lubbock citizens by lp&l we would have bought elsewhere where we could use the co-op!!! Nice welcome to the HUB city...
