RESPONSIBILITY Consider this brethren. When God finished creating, He took a thorough look at His Creation and behold, all was good. The Scriptures didnt say some were good but that all (everything) was good. Then He handed everything over to man for mans comfort and wellbeing. It means therefore that God built a house, furnished it lavishly and handed it over to man as his home on earth. But what has become of this house so painstakingly built by God? Judging by the chaotic situation in the world today, the once beautiful edifice has been vandalised, looted and destroyed by those whose duty it is to maintain, protect and keep it. In all, mans attitude towards God has been that of arrogance, reproach and ingratitude. What else could man expect from God? In our inert state, we expect God to weave a glorious carpet for each and everyone of us. He is to save us from our self inflicted troubles if at all He is God! That is how deeply conceited we are. No humility and true self assessment! Our pseudo knowledge, indolence and over rating of our actual worth have become a solid wall preventing us from coming to any recognition at all. Let it be hammered home that God will not think for us nor decide for anyone. Only the choice is free. It is a matter of freewill. Unfortunately, men have shown no serious commitment to using this freewill aright. Man has never decided rightly. Through our wrong decisions many untold sufferings and hardships have befallen the world. Sadly, we do not wish to hear the truth. Only what seems pleasurable to the ears! And this has become a fertile ground for sycophants and charlatans to thrive. How do you stand? That is the question that thunders towards every creature. Each and everyone would have to answer by himself. Husbands would have no share in the deeds of their wives and children would not partake in the deeds of their parents. Everyone would have to account for every second of his existence. Let us be on the alert.
