REVEALED: APC Leaders set to dump Rochas Okorocha. It has been revealed that despite recent shenanigans by the Imo Governor, he is one leg out of the All Progressive Congress APC. A competent source say the APC Governors and leaders are beginning to see Rochas Okorocha as too arrogant, domineering and power thirsty. The source say the leadership is not comfortable with his modus operandi which he sicks to impose himself as all-knowing and genius. They also seem not to trust him based on his history of political harlortary. The national leadership of the party seemed convinced not to carry him along in their present search and consensus for choosing their Presidential and Vice Presidential flag bearers and that did not go down well with Okorocha who has become too uncomfortable with the technical sidelining of the APC towards him. His failure to meet their requirment of getting 2/3 majority of his House of Assembly members is another reason for the beef. The party leadership were said to have told Okorocha to get 2/3 majority of his IMHA members on board the APC ship to show that he is on ground. Efforts to lure the lawmakers with N30Million paid in installments of first N6Million have failed as many does not trust the Governor. The party top leadership were not also happy with the fact that APC lost Mike Ahamba SAN and former Governor Achike Udenwa because of Okorochas lack of political skill, dexterity and tact. Another straw is the knowledge that the Governor has been underfunding the state party structure. They seem not convinced that the Governor is doing his best to establish the APC party structure in the state. Consequently our source reveal that Okorocha is in a hurried search for the magic wand as the election begins countdown in weeks. Impeccable reports say the Governor has been meeting with Chief Chekwas Okorie over the possibility of a move to his newly formed United Peoples Party UPP, but no concrete agreement has been reached. The Governor is also reported to be hitting the President harder and harder to see if the PDP will call him on their own to help them kill APC in the southeast. This is seen as a last game since the Imo Top PDP brass sternly rejected Okorochas recent attempt to join the party.
