REVIVE US THIS NEW WEEK DEAR SAVIOUR Revival starts within the heart of the believer first and then as your own heart and life is changed it then reaches out and touches others. Scripture states in 2 Chronicles 7:14-If My people who are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. As the individual begins to seek the Lord and turns from their wicked ways, God hears and He said He would forgive our sins and would heal our land. There are certain conditions for us to follow if revival is going to take place. As we seek to turn away from our sin and seek to have a new heart, be renewed in our minds God will hear and begin to do a mighty work in us. We need to first desire change and be vessels that will bring glory and honor to God. In order for Christians to meet the conditions for revival that is stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14 we must do the following: 1.Humble Ourselves (1 Peter 5:6) 2.Pray Effectively (James 5:16; Luke 18:1) 3.Seek God’s Face (Jeremiah 29:13 4.Turn from our Wicked Ways (1 John 1:8-9). Praying for Revival involves personal renewal and confession of all known sin Praying for Revival is Repenting from Sin and turning away from those things that hinder our walk with God. Hosea 14:1 O Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart
