RICHMOND Mill Team Leader Salary:From £21,000 to £25,000 per annum My client is a leader in their field, providing the public and business clients with some of the largest selection of high quality timber products in their marketplace. They are now seeking an experienced Team Leader for their mill to join their growing team as soon as possible. The generous salary offered is between £21,000-£25,000 subject to experience so requires the highest quality of candidates to apply. Your main duties are: o Working within the agreed structure of command, motivate and supervise the mill team to ensure efficient use of staff levels and quality of service and product o Careful planning in line with Production Manager requirements on allocation of machine time and grinding of cutters to produce end products for stock. o As above but to produce end products for special orders to be collected/delivered on time and to correct specification o Ensure all staff follow company procedures and adhere to H&S Policy o Arrange tool room to be efficient and cost effective with use of all cutters in stock o Continued observation of all sawn stock for levels and quality with reports on any down grades with weekly stock checks of both softwood joinery and hardwoods o Liaise with Production Manager/Maintenance Engineer on service schedules for machines o Attend works meetings and daily briefings as and when required, often at short notice o Carry out extra duties as required by Production Manager from time to time o Work on projects as required to improve and develop the business Skills and qualifications: o Machining qualifications or minimum 5 years experience of full mill operations o Handling plant operation o Side Loader / Fork Truck Operation If you have what it takes to be the next member of this exciting companies success story and continued growth, please apply with your CV to James at Prime Time Recruitment NOW!!! totaljobs/JobSearch/JobDetails.aspx?JobId=57117033
