RICK RODDY---DEC. 27th,--SATURDAY UPDATE. Shauna has updated so this may be a repeat. The doctor did say that they had to turn down a heart, unfortunately, because Rick was to sick to accept it, and would not have made it thru the surgery. But, on that note---this is so very promising. This means that UNOS actually called Shands for Rick Roddy. That is very impresssive. Now Rick is doing much better and is up for the next heart. They are very worried about his Protein, nourishment. So we right now are so close to this heart, we can touch it. Im asking for double, triple prayers for an increase in his protein level and of course for that heart. Also, which is good news--Ricks doctor is the doctor that will be receiving the phone calls from UNOS---that is a big plus. Everyone-----this is all for a reason, more than we will ever know---he has a special HEART with his name o it. Just think of this--UNOS is in the middle of the States somewhere and they already called for Mr. RICK RODDY, how cool is that. DEAR CHRIST JESUS, WE HUMBLY ASK YOU LORD TO BRING THIS SPECIAL HEART TO RICK, DEAR GOD,, BLESS HIS BODY WITH YOUR STRENGTH--HIS BODY HAS TO BE STRONG ENOUGH, DEAR GOD--IT IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN IN YOUR HANDS, I PRAY THAT MY HUSBAND WALKS OUT OF SHANDS WITH HIS NEW HEART AND MUCH STRONGER THAN HE IS NOW, very soon.
