RIDE FOR ZAYDEN UPDATE What a brilliant day we had! It was however marred by one of our riders, Justin coming off his bike. He is going to be ok but has a compound fracture of his ankle and possible arm injury. There was no other bike or car involved nor was speed a factor it was sadly just an unfortunate accident and one of the perils every rider may face when they get on a bike. We are thinking of him and wish Justin a speedy recovery. We will try to find out more details on how hes going and let everyone know his progress. On a brighter note….We are thrilled to announce that we have raised a total of $1,615.10 and would like to thank every one that came today as without the great turnout we couldn’t of raised this money to put towards Zaydens Memorial Playground. The feedback regarding the ride has been brilliant and everyone seemed to have a great day. So on behalf of Zaydens family Matho and myself…thank you so very much!! The best part of my day? When Xavier (Zaydens big brother) came up and thanked me and gave me a hug…Wow…what a wonderful little boy and what a beautiful thing to do. He melted my heart and if he wanted to get the waterworks going…he succeeded lol Thank you Xavier I will treasure that moment always
