RIP 31 August to 2 September 2013 Deputy Executive Officer of Shree Saibaba Sansthan, Yeshwant Mane welcomed Guruji Shri C. B. Satpathy ji during his three day visit to Shirdi this past weekend. The book ‘Shree Guru Bhagavat’, Volume 5 in Odia written by Guruji Satpathyji and published by Vision Publishers, Orissa and an audio CD ‘Vardaan Do Sai’ comprising of songs written and composed by Guruji, published by Times Music and sung by famous singers Mahalaxmi Iyer, Javed Ali, Shaan and Roop Kumar Rathod were released at Shirdi during this occasion on August 31st. In an interview with a prominent Marathi newspaper ‘Sakala’ which was published on September 1st, Guruji Satpathy ji highlighted the need for a single window service by Shree Saibaba Sasnsthan to cater to the needs of the growing devotees from abroad that travel long distances for Sai darshan. In reply to another question from the press regarding the exponential growth of Sai Movement, Guruji Satpathyji replied. “Shree Sai Baba lived a simple life and did not advocate any specific religion or sect; or any religious rituals. In India, all temples were traditionally built on a King’s command or on a religious decree. However Baba’s temple and mausoleum are built in devotee’s abode. During the trip, officials of Shree Saibaba Sansthan gave a tour of the temple complex and new accommodation facilities housing 1500 rooms to cater to the pilgrims arriving in Shirdi. According to Sansthan officials, on an average about 60,000 people visit Shirdi on regular days and over a lac people on festivals and holidays. Special events like Ramnavami, Guru Pournima and Shree Sai Baba punyatithi draws more visitors.
