RIP Bobby Womack, always an unpredicatble but great talent. I saw him a few times live. Once was around the time of The Poet album, he did a set of mellow soul aimed at his new yuppie young married couples audience then disappeared off stage. When he returned, you can guess what hed been doing, he launched into a wonderfully scatalogical and aggressive set of ramshackle blues that half emptied the hall.
