RIP Rik Mayall. Here in the States, in the 1980s, we got to see the Young Ones after the series was already ended in the UK when MTV started showing edited episodes of the show at some weird time slot in 1985 (wasnt it something like 11PM on Sunday nights before 120 Minutes? Or was it late on Friday nights? Does anyone remember for sure? I remember never missing a single one). And Im also sure most of us here in the U.S. remember him from the 1991 movie Drop Dead Fred. But those were only a tiny part of his long, accomplished career and he will most certainly be missed.
